A Vision of Inspiration

In a recent project, our team at Cincinnati Custom Signs brought Mt. Carmel Baptist – Kenwood’s interior to life with stunning 1/2″ black acrylic studded lettering. These elegant bible verses and a welcoming sign now adorn the hallways and entrance, creating a serene and inspiring atmosphere for worshippers in Cincinnati. The contrast of bold black lettering against the light grey walls elevates the space’s aesthetic and spiritual impact.

Crafting the Letters

The fabrication process was a blend of precision and artistry. We selected high-grade 1/2″ black acrylic for its durability and sleek finish, perfect for conveying timeless messages. Using advanced CNC routing, we cut each letter with exacting detail, ensuring crisp edges for verses like “Matthew 19:26” and “John 14:6” along with the warm “Welcome” sign. The acrylic was polished to a glossy sheen, enhancing its visual depth.

Studded Installation

Installation required meticulous planning. The studded mounting system, where letters are affixed with aluminum threaded rods, creates a strong and solid adhesion to the wall. Our team created a precise “drill pattern” to position each letter perfectly, ensuring alignment and balance. Using the drill pattern templates, we drilled precise holes for the studs, securing the letters with minimal damage to the walls in the church’s interior. The process, though intricate, was seamless, transforming the space in a single day.

A Lasting Impact

The result is breathtaking: the black acrylic letters pop against the soft grey backdrop, drawing eyes and hearts to the sacred words.
